Coconut Grove is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Miami, incorporated in 1919. It is south of the neighborhood of Brickell east of Coral Gables. Locals refer to it as “The Grove”.
Coral Gables was a planned community by George Merrick in the 1920s, located south of downtown Miami and next to Coconut Grove.
